Waste Way today obtained our first certificate with CHAS, the leading health & safety accreditation scheme.
This runs inline with our Safe Contractor accreditation until February 2023.
Peter Kelly, MD, said this shows our commitment to health & safety on our site and on our customers / clients sites.
We are aiming for CHAS Elite to come inline with our major contracts that require the Common Assessment Standard.
The Common Assessment Standard is for construction companies aiming to achieve accreditation, prequalify for projects, and reduce risks across a wide range of areas.
We are also on track to complete our ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 this year to cement the good work we have done over the last few years.
We will be going for FORS GOLD this year too, we are committed to safe driving for all road users.
For a small company that runs transport and a Hazardous Waste Transfer Station in Kent, this is a tremendous achievement and I am proud of my whole team for the hard work put in over the last several years, especially the last two.
We will continue to grow and improve over the next few years and continue to offer a premium service for ad hoc hazardous waste services for the South East of England.
